Courtside Legal Services focuses on providing limited-scope legal services where appropriate.

Limited-scope representation allows an attorney and client to agree that the attorney will perform specific legal services rather than handling every aspect of a legal matter. The scope of representation is determined on a case-by-case basis and is described in a written engagement agreement signed by both the attorney and the client.  Not every legal matter is appropriate for limited-scope representation. During your consultation, Attorney Mary C. Evans will evaluate your circumstances and discuss available service options.

Visiting this website, sending an email, submitting an online form, calling our office, or scheduling a consultation does not create an attorney-client relationship.

An attorney-client relationship is established only after:

• A conflict-of-interest review has been completed; 
• The firm agrees to provide legal services; and

Courtside Legal Services offers attorney-assisted legal drafting and document preparation for appropriate matters. When attorney drafting or "ghostwriting" services are provided, documents will be prepared in accordance with applicable Florida law, ethical obligations, and court requirements. Where required, documents prepared with substantial attorney assistance will include appropriate disclosures consistent with Florida ethical guidance.

Legal coaching is intended to educate clients regarding legal procedures, court expectations, and case preparation. Unless specifically agreed upon in writing, legal coaching does not include representation in court, filing documents on your behalf, communication with opposing parties, or ongoing legal representation.

Courtside Legal Services operates a mobile legal office to improve access to legal services throughout the communities we serve. Appointments may be conducted at scheduled community locations, our Brandon office, or virtually, depending on the nature of the legal matter. Availability may vary based upon scheduling, geographic location, and attorney availability.

Fees vary depending upon the type of legal service requested, the complexity of the legal matter, and the scope of representation.

Whenever possible, Courtside Legal Services offers transparent flat-fee pricing for many limited-scope legal services. Other services may be billed using alternative fee arrangements discussed during your consultation.

All fees and costs will be explained before legal services begin.
